2024 Senior Fair
Haverford YMCA 891 N. Eagle Road, Havertown, PA, United StatesLearn more about the services my office offers to Senior Citizens of District Seventeen and connect with other resources geared towards Pennsylvania’s older population. On September 12, join us at the Haverford YMCA from 9 AM to 11 AM. A light breakfast will be provided while supplies last!
We are excited to be partnering with Eric’s RX Shoppe again to provide a vaccine clinic at this year’s event! Eric’s RX Shoppe will have Flu Shots, COVID-19 Boosters, and RSV vaccines available, but pre-registration is required for the vaccine clinic. To sign up for a vaccination at the event, call our office at 610-768-4200.
Registration is required ONLY if you’d like to sign up for a vaccine. You can register by calling our office at 610-768-4200. If you don’t want to get a vaccine at the Senior Fair, you are welcome to just show up at the event! We will be excited to see you either way.
Policy Hearing: Mail-In & Absentee Ballot Access
Pennsylvania State Capitol 501 N 3rd Street, Harrisburg, United StatesOn September 25th Senator Katie Muth, Chair of the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Policy Committee, along with Senator Amanda Cappelletti and Senator Judy Schwank, will hold a hearing on mail-in and absentee ballot access. The hearing will focus on differences counties have in their elections processes and communication with voters, along with ways the Commonwealth can get involved to improve the process.
This hearing will be at the Capitol Building, Hearing Room 8E-A with a virtual option.
