Norristown, PA – December 19, 2025 – Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17 Delaware/Montgomery) is proud to announce $4,589,720 in state grant funding for several projects across her district.

East Norriton Township is working to ensure that we stay safe by investing in emergency response and public safety vehicles. I’m pleased that the township is receiving this financial support from the state, and I’m grateful to the Shapiro Administration for investing in our community.”

Representative Tim Briggs (D-149), Representing Bridgeport, Lower Merion, and Upper Merion: “I’m happy to work with Senator Cappelletti to help deliver for our community. This funding will translate into visible improvements on the ground, from better public spaces and safer access for residents to stronger support for local arts and more connected trail and transportation networks.”

Representative Greg Scott (D-54), Representing Norristown: “I’m grateful to see that these new grants will help Norristown upgrade and modernize key infrastructures, provide for more efficient and effective crime prevention, and support residents in need of affordable housing throughout Montgomery County. Doing so helps keep our neighborhoods safe and healthy. I am also proud to see two projects funded that will foster community and creativity for our residents – a new community center and public pool, and the Creative Arts Xpress Vehicle, will all be valuable investments that make Norristown feel like home.”
