Norristown, PA – December 15, 2025 – Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17 Delaware/Montgomery) announced $4,081,268 in grant funding approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) last week that will be distributed to organizations serving the 17th Senate District.

The funding will advance programming opportunities throughout Delaware and Montgomery Counties that provide essential services to violent crime victims, individuals in recovery, sexual assault survivors, child abuse victims, and more. Several projects also prioritize violence prevention and intervention programming.

“Our vulnerable neighbors here in District 17, and across the Commonwealth, deserve robust support systems that allow them to navigate trauma and find healing,” Senator Cappelletti said. “I’m proud to see essential services, across both counties I represent, receive these investments, ensuring our communities truly uplifts folks when they need it most.”
