Norristown, PAJune 23, 2025 – Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-Montgomery, Delaware) is proud to announce that more than $3.4 million in Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) funding was recently awarded to support housing stability and affordability across Senate District 17.

Funding was made available through Marcellus Shale Impact Fees and Realty Transfer Taxes. These targeted investments will directly support local organizations working to provide shelter, prevent homelessness, expand homeownership, and preserve affordable housing.
