Policy Hearing – DHS Overnight Stays

Virtual Event PA

On October 27, Senators Haywood, Muth and Cappelletti will hold a policy hearing to learn about overnight stays of children in the Philly Department of Human Services’ offices.  We also hope to learn more about the cause of these challenges and whether this is related to facility closures, limited access to hospital beds, or minor consent regarding placement.  During this hearing the goal will be DHS accountability and system reform including legislation.

The hearing will be held virtually.
