Norristown, PA – June 10, 2026 – Today, Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17 Delaware/Montgomery) announced $1,866,135 in grant funding approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD).

The approved funding for organizations serving District 17 will advance a diverse group of projects to keep communities in Delaware and Montgomery Counties safe and healthy. Projects receiving funding include community outreach initiatives that uplift at-risk youth, Medication Assisted Treatment care for individuals navigating substance use disorder, and advocacy services for child victims of abuse.

“Ensuring our community’s health, wellbeing, and safety is only possible when we provide a wide breadth of services in every facet of our justice system,” said Senator Cappelletti. “This funding will bolster several critical services across my district and ensure the organizations working day in and day out to uplift our neighbors have what they need to continue providing quality care and support.”

The awards serving the 17th Senate District include:

State Violence and Delinquency Prevention Program Funds

  • Child Guidance Resource Centers – $250,000 for Truancy and Delinquency Prevention Programs (TDPP)
  • Clock Tower Schools – $249,482 for Building Futures
  • Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center – $249,962 for Promoting Safe Behaviors for At-Risk Youth

State Act 80 Funds

  • Delaware County Commissioners – $206,426 for George W. Hill MAT Program
  • Montgomery County Commissioners – $199,903 for Montgomery County Correctional Facility MAT Care C

State Endowment Act Funds

  • Family Support Line of Delaware County, Inc. – $100,000 for Maintaining CAC Services
  • Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center – $100,000 for Advocacy Services for Victims of Abuse

Endowment Act – DVSOs (Category 4)

  • Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. – $100,000 for Child Abuse Treatment Project Service Enhancement

State Funds (Act 105)

  • Villanova University – $10,483 for Statewide Human Trafficking Coordination

State Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction (SAEDR)

  • Rising Hope for Change – $200,000 for Youth Strong PA
  • YMCA Tri-County Area – $199,879 for Recreational Prevention and Wellness
