Norristown, PA June 24, 2025 – Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17 Montgomery/Delaware) announced $1,032,054 in grant funding awarded to organizations serving Montgomery and Delaware Counties. The funding, approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), will advance a diverse range of initiatives focused on substance abuse prevention, youth intervention, and public safety improvements. Projects receiving support include trauma-informed recovery programs, culturally responsive prevention services, and enhancements to forensic science capabilities. Each is designed to reduce harm and promote long-term community wellness.

“I am proud to see these critical investments directed toward programs that prioritize prevention, community safety, and culturally responsive care,” said Senator Cappelletti. “This funding strengthens our local infrastructure and uplifts organizations doing the hard work to meet people where they are.”
